Gas cap, have you lately
looked closely. I happened to notice a sliver of red which turned out to be the old seal on my circa 1978 gas cap on the blue car. It was showing signs of coming apart. The red seal is the old cap which has now been replaced ($15.00 Pelican) with new. Cheap CIS insurance. They don't operate well with junk in the fuel.
So next time you refuel, bottom up the cap and examine to keep your CIS happy. ARF
