Need Help with SC Air Conditioning Question
I'm looking at a 1980 911SC Targa that is in very good condition but has no air conditioning. The seller says it didn't work when he got the car in 1999 and was told that it didn't work for at least 10 years before that.
Anyone have an educated WAG (ball park figure) on cost to have AC again? Assume it needs everything except for the fact that the the fan does work on all three speeds. - $750? - $1000? - $1500? - Forgitaboudit and buy a car with working AC? - Don't worry about sweat and enjoy the Targa top?
