I'm not sure if Glashuette's only U.S. distributor is WatchBuys, as is the case with Sinn. But Sinn has an interesting business model, whereby you (we in the U.S.) can only get their watches through WatchBuys, which is based in N. Carolina. They say this keeps the prices lower than comparable watches like Breitling, as there aren't countless retailers carrying inventory and adding their mark-ups. Anyway, WatchBuys sells only German watches, IIRC and they have some pretty sweet stuff. I went to one of their showings in San Fran. last year. It's the only time you can see the stuff up close. Right now the Euro is killing the Dollar, so that ain't helping things. I have the Sinn U2 and it's every bit as good as any of my Breitlings have been, but far less expensive.
