I had the car at Intersport yesterday for my pre-VIR tech. I had them power wash the engine while there. Drove the car home and - voila! - there's a drip just like always, only now I can see where it's coming from: around the lower nuts on the oil cooler where it mounts to the case. So, I call Intersport and they say $$$$ to do the job, which requires dropping the engine. Ouch
But, I think maybe, just maybe, I have a '73 engine shroud, which allows one to remove the cooler without dropping the engine. Recall, my engine was rebuilt circa 1975. Anyone done this? I really, really hate the idea of spending nearly a grand to replace a couple $2 seals
