Esteemed Dorki:
I have run Hawk Blues for years and am thinking of trying some Pagid Oranges this weekend. Have any of you run both (on the same car at different times) and if so what were your impressions of one versus the other? I know the hawk blues well and ran pagids eons ago ... different compounds were available at the time. Car + driver = 2,000 lbs. Some of my HSR competitors have taken to HBlues in front and POranges in back ... interesting...
For larks, might try a pair of Ferodo DS11s which was the "the hot competition pad" back in the 1960s / 1970s ... found a set laying around in the race garage. (Operating temperature 840-1130F, coefficient of friction +/- 0.32). Think they'll hold up or simply ignite under heavy braking
