Not to hijack this, but did you completely flush after I left? At the time I thought you were just bleeding them.

I think Charlie's fluid was fresh, so only a bleed was needed. You need a flush - no more work, just a little more fluid.

It's amazing how tired you can get from only spending 80 minutes on the track! I was completely beat when I got home last night. I was so bad, I couldn't stay awake during the Simpsons

I'm actually not as sore as I usually get, but I attribute that to the fact that I wasn't driving as close to the limit. It took all day on Saturday just to shake off the rust, and Sunday was spent trying to fix a few things I had spend many weekends perfecting in the past, but forgotten how to do over the last year and a half.

Anyway, the car ran great and I managed to stay on the pavement the entire weekend. I think that alone makes for a good weekend!

Anyone got some time to teach and the equipment?
Steve check this thread out, if you want, you can follow me up to Chris's place after the gathering on the 20th. http://www.dorkiphus.com/porsche/vie...c&start=15
Good to see that the rain didn't spoil anyones seat time this weekend. The bitter cold was a bit annoying, even for those like me, who were in their garage tinkering with their p-cars!

Dorki's???
Ahh . . . hmm . . . . wellllll . . . . . ok . . . . my rear tires managed to find the kitty litter in 1 . . . . . didn't anyone else see that bear sized ground hog

What a great weekend . . . myself not included, there is some serious driving prowess almongst the green Dorki's. Doug, John, Bill & Charlie were all signed off on Sunday, Doug got an extra session as he rode in Blue, not sure what happened to Richard . . . . something about a concert . . . .

I'm still beat too. We had a good time on Dorki row, despite the cold and long wait. Now a couple weeks to get everything tweaked and ready for VIR.

The idea of a brake-bleed session is great. I'd be up for that.

Jeeez. I was bleading brakes all day at the last tech. It is easy and I will be glad to show you how. Call me at 703 534 8153 before 9 pm and we can set up a time.

BTW. The Taj will be closed for additional power, air lines, ventlation, A/C, insulation and drywall as soon as (or if) the Yellow Fellow 914 is finished. The more help the sooner the club house will be back on line...

I'll put some pics up on the board tonight. If you can't wait, look at the Pelican AutoX and Track Racing forum for my post from last night.

Was it ever cold yesterday.
