We were just trying to see how far we could shoot one of those 4 by 4's out from under the 911.
Yep. The flower pot didn't go very far.

Default See you Saturday

I'd love to watch/help/learn during your engine drop. Anything I can bring?

I think all I need is one more floor jack. Oh, and someone who's done this before. I've only participated, never run the show. Ok, so bring your "sense of adventure", too!

I'm planning on making a "non-working" appearance :P Is this still on?
I so hope for nice weather this weekend!

Yes, it's still on. It looks like I might not have the jack-to-engine thingy, so I need to be prepared for the tried-and-true Dorkiphus Way. Ted, bring the wood blocks.

BTW, everyone at an engine drop party works. Just that most are assigned coffee and donut hoisting.

Aren't there some assigned trash talking duties too? That may be just what I heard!

BTW, that is a nice looking car. Always nice to take apart a nice looking car.

Too funny. That pic reminded me of a car I saw that was sitting on 8 of the flimsy square plastic buckets that kitty litter comes in. One stacked on the other and on all 4 corners. Skarylokingstuf.

Default Directions to Greg's house

Festivities begin at 10am. I'm at the end of Marion Ave, a cute white house on the left at the corner. Plenty of parking in the driveway. The garage is around the side to the right when facing the house.

There's a map here.

See y'all in the morning.[/url]

Sorry I didn't make it over this morning but I hope things went well and that the engine is safely out of the car.

Have fun with the project and try to avoid the "while you are in there" slope because it sure is slippery
