Another quick update from the shop. Back bracing fitment and floor mods done.

I'm really excited about my new seat Racetech RT4119THR. I'm 6'3" and not wide and had a hard time finding a seat that fit me correctly. The tall versions are all too wide because they are XL everywhere. Racetech makes a tall seat designed for my body type.

It is fantastic quality, and fits me like a glove - nice and snug and with the right seat pad (they make three diff thicknesses, it'll be perfect harness angle. The 4119 seat is fixed only (not designed to be on sliders) and has back bracing integrated into the design. Upside is safer because fixed to the cage by more than the seat mounts, and increased feel of what the chassis is doing. Bonus, it has a 50mm duct so we're going to connect to the Cool system and 240cfm inline fan. Ventilated seat in the racecar...

Interesting back brace design. Do you replace the lower bent piece to move the seat or does that attach to an intermediate piece between it and the seat. I'm guessing the former given how far back your seat needs to be. Thanks for sharing.

Former. It bolts directly to the seat, you change the angle with the rollbar brackets. But, there is zero adjusting the seat once it's fit, designed to be completely fixed.

Do you use the lower pole mount as well or is it an either/or? Sweet, man.

That's the duct connection to ventilate the seat w NACA or inline fan.

"You got a real purdy car!" I'd like to try sitting in that seat, as I have the same issues you do. I also have a blower, and I wonder if a ventilated seat would be cooler than a cool shirt (and of course last through a whole race).

It's nice to see it all come together.

That's a sweet seat! Next time I see you, I definitely want to try it out. Seems like it'd be up my alley as well.

it's nice and snug. with break-in, will fit very nicely. quality wise, it feels a lot like the recaro. Still want a little thinner cushion.

also below is the switch panel piper did. very tidy bit of kit. the can bus is secured behind the panel, which is easy to remove for button maintenance/installation etc...

Please remove the e-brake before posting any further pictures of your "race car", I am embarrassed for you.
