I agree. I think the big one is about the ego component. Its so important for drovers to put that aside and focus on the learning from a blank slate mindset..

FWIW, I turn my PSM off for autocross runs. Autocross is a place where I sometimes want to play with my rear end (no comments please!), and the PSM Nanny gets in the way. Worst-case-scenario is pretty much hitting some cones.

On the track, PSM stays on!

It's alot like a car with street tires vs slicks. You can't drive faster than the tires allow. The more you push it the slower you go. You have to listen to the car and then adjust to make it work....

Call it driving around or driving to the nannies......
I've been in cars where I like it and where it hinders the driving style.....you can adjust...
With tires these days I think some nannies on street cars calibrated for street tires can't keep up with the available grip from slicks and can intrude but I'd much rather have them when they are needed...great example of street abs...vs motorsport abs.....or race cars with traction control buttons the driver can adjust to allow more slip angle......though it can backfire as well

My 2 cents. Think about F1 ten years ago. Every driver aid possible on those cars - to the point the driver was deemed nearly irrelevant. They didn't disappear because the drivers were complaining. If those guys need/use nannies...I'm no better.
