Nice lean there Bill!

Next time shave some weight and ditch the hubcaps and roof. And put that radio antenna down to cut the drag

I have registered for the AX on August 8. I want to stay for the BBQ Sat. night.
Can somebody recommend a hotel between Summit point and Winchester where it's possible to park with the trailer ?

Thanks
Engelbert

Englebert,

I usually stay at the TownPlace Suites (route 7 right before the I-81 interchange) and always see trailers in that parking lot but other hotels I've stayed at such as the Fairfield and Courtyard allow trailers as well.

Englebert,

You could also drop the trailer off in the paddock at Summit Point Main Friday evening. There will be plenty of space.

This looks like a pretty "dead" thread but I just wanted to say thank you to Michael, Pat and all the other Auto-X volunteers for an awesome event yesterday. Really well run as usual. Special thanks for putting up with all the rugrats that were out there as well. Didn't drive as well as I would have liked but it was good to shake the dust off. Hoping to make November if some slots open up.

Congrats to Vranko on FTD.

x2 on the thank you to Michael, Pat and all the other Auto-X volunteers for another awesome event! The weather was perfect and the soup so delicous!

Also a big thanks to Bill C for his sage advice about braking earlier! He helped make this ride possible (and credit to Gary for use of his GoPro) my personal best time of the day hauling asses.

My kids and wife both enjoyed the AX they attended' but the one thing any one of them brings up is my son*, recounting the trip in the Cayenne.

Great times!

* Aside from Katie wanting to grow up to be Pat-like (littlemrs)
