Default Inner Speed Secrets

Is anyone else participating in the Inner Speed Secrets webinar? The first 90 minute session was last night, the second is tonight and there are two more next week at the same times.

So far it looks like an expanded version of the last single session presentation for instructors. Some interesting things with the benefit being actually taking the time to think about them. Sort of a books on tape version of the books of the same name.

I wanted to do it, but I thought I'd wait until it was available on demand. I can't cobble together 90 minutes of attention span for one night let alone four.

I subscribe to the weekly newsletter and it's pretty good.

I may not be able to do them all live but since they provide permanent access to the recorded sessions... and the slides... I figured I could bank the ones I missed.

Hey, I was getting my iRacing time in last night and took an SRF out on SP Main for fun. Do you ever need to use the brakes hard on that thing? Looks like a blast and stops on a dime at 1. Not sure I touched the brakes anywhere else.

If you can get through T5 without touching the brakes, then we gotta talk.

The iRacing model for the SRF is finally about right. Speeds and shift points are dead on. They finally dialed out just about all of the understeer. SRFs just don't understeer. Too much grip, not enough HP. Lap times are incredibly close to real world. I just wish that they had an updated VIR (repave). I'm racing there this weekend and would really like to learn the track before qualifying.

Oh, and 5. LOL! Good to know the model is good. I've been having to take all the camber out and move the shocks to full soft on the Ruf RWD to find a car that feels like the Boxster in handling and rhythm. Too bad Porsche are such Pricks about licensing. There are parts of Main that feel a bit wrong in iRacing - 3 feels a bit too narrow and the bump before 4 seems too bumpy.

Good luck with your race this weekend!

David, I signed up on MotorsportsReg.com after receiving a notice from my SpeedSecrets.com subscriptions. It looks like registration is closed since the event already started.

I have some other information I'll PM you separately.

Firming up the thought that this is a slower version of the instructor course he ran previously. Much of the same stuff. Mental agility, pre-programming thoughts, visualization, etc. Some interesting physical triggers. But, if you've heard him speak before not much new.

More on managing personality traits and beliefs to AXE-sintuate the positive and replace the negative. Building triggers based on past best-game-evers and reliving them prior to driving - brain works faster and mental imagery is more positive so you do better. F negative people.
