Just saw this thread. I am more than happy to lend a hand anytime to help you get going again - just let me know.

I am so sad to hear about this.

Noah,

Have you passed the additional info about the perps to the police? What was their response? Anything new?

Please feel free to PM me if you feel like the police are not being responsive enough. I may know some people who know some people . . . Whether I have enough swag to make anything happen is a whole other story!

TD

Argh. What a tragedy. I hope you can get it back to it's pre-accident condition! I agree that I'd drive to a few nearby body shops to see if the perp dropped off the car for repairs.

If TD has connections, use them. Otherwise you are SOL. Used to live in DC, been there, done that.

Noah:

That sux man. I have "pranged" a few p-cars on the track ... get angry at yourself but, a hit-and-run, that would really piss me off. If the trails leads to VA let me know ... I have lots of cop / commonwealth attorney friends.

If you need a rear trailing arm for that 911 - I have one you can have for nothing.

Thanks everyone -- things are looking up, insurance-wise. I think I may be covered under my policy's $10,000 uninsured motorist payout. I should know this afternoon...

At least that's some good news.

Sorry about the hit, no words for how you must feel.

The old man in me says everyone should check their insurance coverage, make sure you have full coverage.
