The 944 track car is tagged, so I plan to tag it in DC. I was looking at the DC DMV's website, and it doesn't have a special category for antiques, and the inspection list does not list anything about emissions. Will I have any problems with a race exhaust system at the inspection station? I would call the DC DMV, but nothing is worse than calling them, and I trust the answers I will get from you guys more than I would get from a secretary over there . . .

i think it would be easier to find the 944 cup bbs and ask there... i'm sure they not only know all the tricks but will probably point you to a "community" stock exhaust complete w/ 4 in-line cats
if not, then sneak around w/ the plate off your targa since most of the driving will be to and from the track... how about pelican's 944/924 board?: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/forum...amp;forumid=10 edit: this is funnY http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showt...hreadid=223182 |

what Dave said.
The Pelican 944 board is full of friendly folks and most are very down to earth. |
