Kurt, the tank and hardware sound sweet. I would love to see some pix or check it out.

Are you interested in selling some of frags?

My system is not as extensive as yours but it has been established and stable for years. (110 gal / 110W X 4 PC lighting/ Berlin Turbo skimmer/ powerheads and wavemakers/ living sump/ 6 stage RO DI.....). My tank is built into a wall so all of the BS is hidden.

Your going to miss the tank when it is gone!!!

You are welcome to some cuttings no charge. The only folks that ever pay for my cuttings are the shops. I have a colt that is a real fast grower, some leaf and the best green mat around. It has bright bright green arms, purple mat and grows all over and from what I have heard even in poor conditions. I have a sheet growing up the back glass that you are welcome to. Pin it down with a rubber band and it will take off in no time. I would put rubble next to the leading edge of it and wait a month for it to grow out on the rubble than swap the now worth something rubble for salt at the marine store. They LOVE the stuff and it would grow about as fast as I used salt. I also have some macros plants small amount of hamie and a, to me unknown, flat sheet macro that just popped up and grows well. Dark flat kind of mushy leaves all to a common point. I have to mow some out and chuck it from time to time. If feed iodine in I get calurperta (sp). Once a year or so I do this to vac the water of nutrients. The cal just sucks the nitrogen out of the rock and then I pick the cal out and chuck it.

BTW I have two dose pumps on timers as well. One for Kalkwaser and one for iodine. I do not need ether for the most part. If you were to load the tank hard the Kalkwasser pump is handy.

The system is, for a reef tank, low light, 4 X110 watt no HiD. The stock is selected for and used to it. The colt does not like high lumens Hid (according the shop I sell it to. They sold one of my biggies (it was the size of a basketball when it was open) to some dingbat and he fried it The green will put up with high lu just fine if you install it in darker spots and let it grow out to the light. Once it does the new growth is OK in the high lu areas.

I am booked through the weekend and into much of next week so give me some time and we can set up something.
