Thought I would bump this up. I'm putting myself back on the market. I am a CPA with a recent MBA with a Finance concentration. I have a wire variety of experience and interest. If anyone knows anybody looking, PM me.

Thanks
Steve

Uh oh.. with all those math skills, I would hope you have a "wide" variety of experience.

Good luck, and if I hear of anything I'll be sure to share.

I think this thread is a great idea, and would be a better idea as a section. I know at the track we don't like to talk about business (I don't either), but on here I think networking is great. Especially since...

I am actively (read desperately) looking for sharp people with experience in content management systems. Particularly Documentum, but other competitive systems are OK as well. I need developers, sysadmins, project managers every month. Particularly developers. In Jan, I have some other needs in .Net and object pascal (don't ask ) Other slots pop up from time to time like general windows admin or solaris admin. Clearances are a major plus, but not required.

PM me if you guys know anyone.

Thanks.

A small consultancy that's growing into something bigger. We're working through a re-branding right now. Mostly federal contracts through a few different primes. PM or email me if you know anyone who is interested. I have immediate open slots. Thanks.

I think this is a great idea (especially since I am starting a small business in March!). For those looking for work in the IT field and IT sales field I just checked out public employment opportunity page and counted 225 job postings, that is two hundred twenty five job postings. They run the gamut from mailroom clerk to IT security manager. Most are sales or IT specialist jobs but there are a number of marketing, HR, finance and contract positions available.

My company is the largest reseller of IT equipment to the federal government, we will ship over one billion dollars in product this year. If you are interested go to www.gtsi.com and click on careers on the bottom. our new Peoplesoft interface is not exactly user friendly in my opinion but you should be able to come up with the list with few problems.

Hey guys, I'm a Network Engineer with Northrop Grumman. I currently work on a contract with the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery. Unfortunately for me, I just found out yesterday that the Navy is cutting our NOC staff by 50% in lieu of budgeting issues. Apparently the Navy knew from the beginning that they didn't have the money in the budget to finish out our contract but still signed off on it, effectively 'bouncing their check' to Northrop. Its not a certainty that I will be losing my job, although with a 50% chance I figure I better start looking.
If anyone knows of someone hiring a Net/Server admin with experience in Active Directory implementation, SMS 2.0, SMS 2003, migration from SMS 2.0 to 2003, Exchange 5.5 and 2000, Cisco, and Windows 2000, XP and 2003, let me know where I can send my resume. I'd be looking in the NoVA/DC area, would prefer to not commute to MD.

Thanks in advance!!

Paul

Paul,

Any Linux/Unix admin experience? Oracle? My company is currently looking for an admin to support our engineering, services, and training groups.

Also looking for telecom-savvy services consultants and managers.

Default Virgina computer technology outsourcing

This is one of the few times I'm glad most of you are in NoVa. If y'all were down here I might not have any computer support to do!

RichmondComputerHelp.com

I do travel up to NoVa every once in a while to do some network troubleshooting. Hmm....maybe I could subcontract the network troubleshooting to you guys to avoid having to make the trip.

Nahh...Instead I'll drive my P-car up there and start meeting the NoVa Porschephiles! I wonder if I can fit a 7' ladder in the '71?

I'm always looking for small and medium size business clients in the central Virginia area.
