Is that the one that allows you to remove the external blower in the engine compartment and routes the air from the cooling fan through the heat exchangers? If so, I I'd like to take a look at it.

These are also available in FG or CF from www.mashaw.com, www.gt-racing.com and / or www.americaninternationalracing.com.

How many HP boost do you get if you buy the CF version? Does it come with a sticker I can put on my car?

yes, it bolts on the left side, you can get them from FRP for $40-$55, but the metal one is a bit more robust. If you want to borrow it we can figure out how to meet up. I am only in NOVA on weekends so let me know

One of the many “tips” floating around for track vehicles is to rig a switch to activate the extra fan while the heater boxes bypass is open & flapper valve is closed. This provides additional air flow over, around & through the cylinders for hot days at the track.

Actually, most cars heater control lever should activate the fan before the heater box flappers open anyway. But not Carreras or cars equipped w/the auto temp control. So I got to ask; what price fashion, or better access to (?) or just because?

Gosh, a Porsche owner pissing away money on something just because it is different/kewl. Actually I was going to do it because I cut my hand on the stupid clamp that holds the hose and it also cleaned up the engine compartment, which I guess means that I am doing it "just because".

Of course the next step is to delete the SSI's and go with headers as who needs heat anyways.

Do you really need a reason to throw money at these cars? I like it because of the way it cleans up the engine compartment. A Carrera engine with a smaller air box, no A/C and no heater blower is a joy to work on.
