In my ongoing CEL issue with the 993, I am wondering if one or more injectors are sticky. Taylor said he was getting the HC's to rise a lot with a probe in the tailpipe and turning the engine over by hand. Trouble is that my current fault code is P1126 or LEAN condition in right bank. Car runs and sounds perfect. My last tank of gas got better than average fuel economy, but it was 100% hwy. miles and most of it in 6th gear - to PA, NJ and WV and back. My temps seem a tad higher than normal in stop and go traffic on a real hot day, but needle is down low with the a/c on when on the hwy. I need to clean my MAF too. But I'm wondering if some place local rebuilds or ultrasonically cleans injectors for reasonable money.

I had mine rebuild and cleaned by IMA this year as a preventive thing when the whole fuel system was refreshed. About $150 for all 6 IIRC.

Clean the MAF first. A dirty MAF will skew the fuel trims.
