Little Porsche time here as well. Had the MSD fail while the car was on the trailer, go figure. Got some street driving time in.

When I am not fishing disgusting things out of Michele's mouth that she has an uncanny ability in finding or setting up for Club Race I have been working on the shop and a certain trailer.

The shop is coming along and is up and running with only little embellishments left to do.

The real news is I am now the proud owner of two, not one, but Two Special Edition light pink Dorki T shirts. Seems that a little kids red T shirt found its way into the lights laundry load.

I was out of town all last week. Before and since I'm working like a slave.
Not much happening on the Porsche front. Last is, until the evening. Please
refer to my next post in the technical section.

Default time and again

tho 4 months old, the twins still arent sleeping thru the night. But both Michael and Mallory have rolled! and starting to put things to mouth...teething before they have any coordination...

WITH that said! I've been around, just preoccupied. I'd love to stop by and get in the way!

Congrats on the new seats! Should i bring a hammer to help modify them?

b.

Not too much on the Porsche front here either.....been working hard and trying to keep my 8 month pregnant wife company. Did meet a new dorki (mplanche) who picked up my chrome 7 & 8 fuchs. Getting ready to sell my 7&9 set.

Four well packed boxes came by UPS yesterday and Charlie and I should be heading to Silver Spring on Fri.....Wanna guess on what they are????

Should be able to debut them on the Air & Space run at the end of the month.

Till then.........

Default What I did with my summer, weekends, nights, morns..etc

I've been out of commission for some time working on my shop. I'm ready for the concrete pour on saturday morning if the weather cooperates. Doing it all myself.

It's next to my house, and the main shop floor is 30'wide x 32'deep, and the back space is 10.5'deep by 25'wide. I was planning to do powder coating back there - auto resto shop in the front.

Only a month or so more...I think I can, I think I can.....

I've been busy. Yesterday I removed my decklid and installed my new C2S split grill. House still stinks from the adhesive. Job was not that bad at all, despite all the Rennlist tales of woe. Once my home computer is debugged, I'll get some digi. photos. It will look very nice. Hmmm. What else? Oh, I installed my Brey Krauss fire ext. mount and stripped a seat rail bolt in the process. That turned a 5 min. job into a 2.5 hr. nightmare and it was a very hot day. Helped with Jim's engine drop too.

Now I'm just about out of things to do. I've got a feeler out on Rennlist for a G50/21 Euro gearbox. If a good deal pops up, I'm gonna have to pull the trigger on it and also a light-weight flyhweel and RS clutch kit. I figure hawking my lady's engagement ring will cover it all and then some.

Kurt, all is not lost. I know a certain young lady with a 914 who would pay
BIG BUCKS for her own custom colored dorki tee shirt.

Well I'm finally back into another 911. Now its back to mods and finding deals that I can live with. Im in the market for some new wheels at the moment. Anyone have 18"s or 19"s they want to get rid of or trade for my OEM 18" chrome technology wheels out there? Mods...it seems to never end.

Can't say for sure right now, Jeff. It all depends on me getting a bunch of stuff done by that weekend. In addition to the 993 engine lift & 60kmile service, I have new seats for the 73E that'll require me to fab mounting brackets, figure out how to anchor the seatbelts, modify my rollbar for DE use and install it, get / mount harnesses, etc. Oh yeah, I need to fit in a weekend trip to NC to visit our son.
Wow Jim! I thought I was busy. Good Luck with everything

Jeff
