More Details:

As driving enthusiasts, what would be better than fusing fast cars with fast aircraft? Porsche at the Air and Space Museum is such an event. In the A.M., we'll have a private tour of the new museum featuring famed aircraft such as the SR-71 Blackbird, the Concord, a MiG 21, a B-29, the Space Shuttle Enterprise and much more. After the Museum, we'll exercise our Porsches throught the backroads of VA (the drive will be about 75 miles), then have lunch at Bonefish Grill in Gainesville. Bonefish was nice enough to give us reserved parking and the whole bar area to host the lunch. Plus, we will be watching LeMans with Steve McQueen. There is no registration fee. Hope to see you there. If you have any question, call Kevin Sims at 703 830-4285 or email him at porsche_driving_club@yahoo.com

Event Presented by the Porsche Driving Club. No Politics, Just Driving.

Sounds like fun.

Porsche Driving Club? Never heard of this club. Is this some kind of cult that makes their members pour water into the front of their cars?

It's a driving club, Jim. Their cars are not under the perpetual renovation that ours are!!

Default Porsche Driving Club introductions

Porsche Driving Club is just a group of Porschephiles in the DC area that love to do events. Especially ones that involve driving our Porsches.

We invite all Porsche owners to our Aug. 29th event to the Air and Space museum. The drive after the museum tour will be a blast.

Hope to see everyone there.

Kevin

Kevin, I may have been a little flippant in my previous remarks, but it does sound like a excellent event you're organizing. I'll try to attend.

Jim, I thought your comments were funny. And about the Steve McQueen rumors, if any one has a wigi board be sure to invite him. Tell him not to forget his 917K.
