thanks guys.. and that shroud color is a little unique. It's 1962 356 Ruby Red. Only one other special person in the whole US has that color besides me.. I don't want to disturb Charlie S.'s privacy by letting the world know this so I can't spell out his last name.. it has to many crazy letters anyway. go figure..

The engine is a Competition Engineering machined 2.7
RS 8:5 pistons, Raceware head studs and rod bolts, 2.7RS dizzy, etc w/40k miles on it. The newer stuff is because now it's smog exempt.. PMO, E-cams, SSI, Monty, EGT & CHT 6cyl computer monitor. The plumbing is designed around a not popular full loop feed system. The pump feeds the filter. The filter feeds the left carb1. Carb1 feeds carb2 from the bumper side fuel bar fittings. Carb2 feeds the regulator. The regulator feeds the return line. The loop is very efficent for carb feed and operates with the stock high vol CIS fuel pump

All new custom electric in the engine comp. Marine oversized wires, gold plated terminals, marine fuse bar, alternate starter jump button, MSD CD box, coil, and noise suppressor.

All custom work is designed around quick trouble shooting and easy repair. It's as bullet proof as possible. The details are endless and extremely thought out.. for instance the diameter, thread pitch, and length of the stainless screws that hold items to the zinc plated metal threaded rivits in the preforated metal liner is thought out.. go figure.

Why do you say "not popular"? I replaced the old fuel lines right after
I got my "T" and thought about the exact thing. Another thread on
PPBBS an aftermarket EFI install plumbed the same way.

OK.. I should have said not popular with carbs.

The vast majority of carbs have a "dead head" system install, Not a full loop. CIS, etc have always used a full loop as a basic part of their design.

PS: the PMO fuel regulator that's used with carbs on a CIS/DME car has a partial loop at the regulator to the return line.. the carbs are still dead headed. The full loop on carbs is becoming popular among some Calif track cars.

Low psi and high volume w/CIS or DME pump. The fuel remains cool because all of it is always recirculating. There is no pulsing from a regulator, psi is more stabilized, floats are thus more stabilized. A more stable fuel feed system.

This system is being used on Calif tracks with great success by TRE of LA. I'm not saying that deadheading is NG.. I'm doing a new install so WTF.
