Default UPDATED: Lockton DE Insurance for April 6-8 event...

Hey all,

I notice that when I try to get a quote on HPDE insurance on the Lockton site, that they are treating the April 6 as a totally separate event from April 7-8.

Has anyone gotten Lockton to cover all 3 days as a single event?

Is anyone still using Lockton? I may need to go with RLI for this event, if this is the way it is...

ed

UPDATE: Lockton has added the 6th to the 7-8 event, so all three days are now covered as one event.

Probably because April 6 is an instructor/ instructor training day, and the DE is on Saturday and Sunday.

Sure, but in the past they have combined the Friday invitational days with the weekend DE - and charged the same.

I’d call ‘em and ask. The current setup does allow one to insure a different car for the instructor day, if that would be beneficial (like if it is snowing or something).

Yeah - I have a note into them now, will follow up Monday. I was hoping someone here had already resolved this with them.

I noticed that too when I signed up this morning, but I'm not going to be able to make Friday. I'm pretty sure last year covered all three days.

If you plan to hit all of the events, and maybe a little more, you may want to consider OpenTrack.

Update: Lockton has added the 6th to the 7-8 April DE, so all three are covered as a single event now.

Jay - Open Track doesn't work out as cost effective for me given the number of events I am planning.

Best,
ed
