Greg,
I couldn't find a place nearby when I was looking a couple years ago. Manassas (American Stripping?) and a place in Balto (can't remember the name) were the closest I could find.

Greg, I know you want to completely metal plate the 944 to make it last forever, but should at least step up to chrome!

I recently had some parts powder coated at American - they only do powder coating and something similar to jet-hot. I couldn't find anyone local who did zink or whatever the other gold coating method is (at least not for small, non-commerical projects).
Best of luck, let us know if you find a place - I came up blank. Gordo

There's a place in Baltimore that does cad and I believe also zinc plating - if I remember right they're called Allied Metal Finishing. If you use them, it's best to include every part at once, as they charge a minimum fee of $250 for up to 95 lbs.
