looking for p/n 944 618 121 05 or stock chips for same. Car has Autothority chips in it now and with the price of fuel would like to be able to use something other than premium. PO lost stock chips... grr... let me know if you have

Youre supposed to use premium with the 88s even with stock chips.

you have a point, but I also have an intermittent issue with the car running really rich on a cold start and also sometimes not running right under heavy throttle in very hot weather. I figure before I start going nuts checking all the sensors that a set of stock chips might not be a bad idea. Also then I could see if they really did make the car feel any faster

If your are going that way with de-tuning check with your mechaniac. Also, talk to Oklaforeign to see if they have the parts you need.

if I could even borrow one for a while that might help can someone tell me if there are any significant differences between 85.2-87 and 88 DME's? thanks, nate

Im pretty sure that the 88 DME will only work with an AFM from an 88. The programming in the DME is different, has ahigher redline etc.
