These anniversary coupes have the 3.8 with X51 right? Somewhere around 380hp correct? Did they come with PASM too? Share some insights on the new car.

BTW, how old are your kids? Don't you need car seats for them? Do car seats actually fit in back? in front? What about airbag de-activation?

Yes, it has 3.8 with X51 power kit so 381-385 hp depending on data source. It does come with PASM, and it feels great so far. Fairly stiff but the car is very composed. It also comes with sport chrono, which is really a lap/segment timer that you can program to let you know how far above or below your pace you have been. It has the sport exhaust, short shift kit and thicker sport steering wheel. In short, it has all of the sport options available on non-GT3 cars. The only carbon fiber on the car is in the engine compartment, and it does not have that many power options (e.g., it has manual sport seats). It has full leather and various unique badging/colors throughout the car.

This car is one of the few that came from the factory with the aerokit, which makes it look identical to the 997 GT3 except for (1) it lacks the venting in the front bumper; (2) it is a little more narrow than the GT3, but this is largely unnoticeable; and (3) it lacks the "gills" on the sides of the rear bumpers.

Although the 997/996 look very similar at first glance, it feel like every single panel/detail on both the exterior and interior of the car is different . . . really.

That was a tough weekend. It was when I first realized that the wiring on the car was a DISASTER (and which lead to the complete rewire of the car) and the weekend that the motor blew. After that weekend, I never experienced another DNF, and the worst that I ever saw was a hose popping off . . . and once ASG, which was great to me, overfilled the oil a little, which made it puff a little puff of smoke so I came in, got 2nd degree burns draining a little oil, but all was well.

Very Nice ride there TD! I am a little confused. I though the reason you were selling the Targa was it was too nice?

I can't find the "waiting for the Dr." picture of the 944 in the shop

Let's not forget 801's stunning upset in the Porschefest Concours last year.
