Again the Brass Bushings work great. Pari recommended a modification kit that provided spring loading out of the 1-2 plane as well as the 5-Reverse plane. With my youngest driving the car next, I am concerned about the money shift and that modification seemed a useful addition to keep it out of accidentally finding the other fourth. ?? where to find and how long to install?

Alan,
I think Pari was referring to the Seine Gate Shift kit: http://www.seinesystems.com/GateShift-1.htm Install: http://www.seinesystems.com/GateShift-Install.htm How to 'Blueprint' the 915 shift mechanism: http://www.seinesystems.com/ShiftHousBluPrint.htm I'd also replace the 'ball cup bushing' under the shifter and the 'shift rod bushing' in the tunnel under the housing. Chris and Ted also have the Seine kit with a short shifter and combined (with new bushings) totally transforms the feel.
