I included the OEM fitments. Everything else is an after-market mod. Yes, it will fit at least any 996, 997, 986, 987 made between 2000 and 2012.

Knowing Porsche, it extends earlier and possibly later. Not sure what else to add. Porsche part number is 997 355 910 30

If you're unsure and can't check fitment then I would say you don't need it

Echoing prior comment - for WHICH GT3? That is, will this fit my 986? Will it fit my 981?
