I emailed mine in earlier this week. 100% against the 200# rule for RSAs and also commented in favor of alt street abs in 997s .

Well I don't wan to add 200#s to my car for any reason to start with. I also don't want to be moved to F class with that 200# and race the Boxster S's which are almost as fast as our cars are now (w/o the extra 200#s).

If H prep RSA drivers aren't happy with their cars in H they can do what I did and de-mod and go back to G. Or if PCA determines it is warranted maybe they can give H RSAs a 100# weight reduction or something like that. I still don't think that would be enough of a benefit against the newer cars but would help some.

If this does pass (which I don't think it will), I don't know what I would do. I and many other G drivers have spent a lot of time, money and effort getting to 2,910.

Fixed.

I do not think it will pass either, based on the email I received from the technical chair that had no mention of this, but lots of points/questions about the seat back brace. I recommended rejection of the proposal in my comments (wait, WTH was wrong with me ).

I also commented about the ABS, but my reading is that it is a more complicated technical issue based on potential benefits if they do not get it right, but PCA agrees that something needs to be done.

X100

Why not just use the euro RS weight on the H prep RSA ? That would be a simple solution to the 964's and a lot of options to all 964's

IMO, 100# is a fair starting point that will not put the PDK cars at a disadvantage. We can agree to disagree on this. If I am proved wrong on track, then we reduce the weight.

Why stop at Euro RS weight when you can go with 964 Cup weight.
