Sounds like it would make a nice x-mass gift from your wife/kids. But why would you go to a larger mesh? Not sure there is anything wrong with the stocker(?) Why fix something that ain't broke? Might have more fun with a GoPro1

Are you looking for a filter that is easier to change / cheaper or are you concerned with how clean the oil is actually getting? If it's the later you could always consider adding a bypass filter. Never seen one on a sports car but they are a pretty big deal for the diesel and equipment guys. Just a quick example from a google search http://www.fs2500.com/

Just an easier change... I'm putting in nearly 500 miles a week...

Get a GT3, then you can change the filter from above, instead of crawling under the car. This is the best solution.

Don't you still have to crawl under to let the oil out?

Use one of those topsider oil change devices that sucks it out from the dipstick tube.

How easier? Still uses cartridge, still needs to be seated perfect or it will leak

Springs are on the way though... You ready for the 'install' party?

Also, how'd you make out with the fuel thingy at summit?
