Default A.C. hard line repair

I have a dilemma-- one of the hard lines for my A/C has a minute perforation.

is anyone aware of or had a decent experience with a shop that will do a repair via brazing or splicing in a rubber barrier hose section?

The car was, apparently built around this long tube if it is available, it is likely an engine haulout to do the full R&R...

The owner is a friend. It is 928 and the line in question is buried in that spacious engine compartment.

I repaired the long AC line on the side of an 87' Carrera with some tube and 4 hose clamps. worked well for several years untill we finally sold the car.

Ah, a fellow dunkelblau- hi!

Cavenous in some respects, but very tight in others! At least in this 32V compared to my 16V.

I'm half tempted to see whether a Butane or MAPP torch will get hot enough to braze. It is in a very tough spot though.

I'd be OK with a hose spliced in but would prefer a barrier hose and deference to any best-suited approach to clamping or crimping. Not much room for tools though.

Huh...this is new to me:

http://www.northsearesins.com/

Or I could go to a Nissan dealer (not): https://tools.nissantechmate.com/Use...-41425-NIS.pdf

Dorman makes a kit along the same lines..North of $400 though for the kit. Access is still a constraint.
