Congrats on finishing! 3rd try was the charm for us, too.

2010: Blown motor, though spectacular clouds of smoke. Shoulda' known something was up when the crew tried topping off the oil on Sunday morning....and had to add 4 quarts.

2011: Discovered that 1979 Mazda OEM front calipers are CRAP! Ended up blowing the hose out of the LF, in the braking zone at the end the back straight. I happened to be driving; its a wierd feeling when everyone else is slowing down and you're in the dirt passing cars....

We were so happy the car was still running well, and the drovers (aka the Malakas) hadn't garnered any major penalties.

Congrats Brad!
Was this with Jim and Greg Smith, Henry Harrell and Marty Gallinger or are there 2 POS Volvo Wagons thrashing around?

No...ReVolvolution Racing is the original POS Volvo RaceWagon team from the DC area = 5 cylinders of front wheel drive hell.

All the other Volvo teams are mere imitators...

Summit Point 16 hour race history:
2010: connecting rod through the front of the block (220k mile engine)
2011: warped head from overheating for some reason (160k mile engine)
2012: finished (60k mile engine)

Others:
2010/2011 Palm Beach Int Raceway - 24 Hours
2012 VIR Chumpcar Race - 16 hours

With your record Brad I can see why you're attracting imitators...
I've been thinking Fratzi my 16V qualifies (she only cost $200) and with Denise I've got half a team already...
Congrats again on your finish!
