Default Quick Disconnect Steering Wheel

I am going to order from here. http://tcracing.org/p3.html I bought this system with the ergo wheel for my S2 and I really like it.

I am thinking about the deep dish wheel and the 911 extension for the 993. The combination bring the steering wheel 100 mm (~ 4") closer. Question that come to mind is, If needed, how do I extend the pedals?

Ghetto version is with wood blocks screwed or clamped to existing pedals.

That's what I've got and it works great. I tried the $$ adjustable pedats and they can be a PIA.

Why do you want to move both wheel and pedals back? Farther reach to the shifter & worse weight distribution in a 911.

Nadir,
You're a short guy, and you're also not very tall (). Why get a deep dish steering wheel and spacers and have to worry about messing with the pedals?

See, that's what happens when you create a thread about quick-connect steering wheel releases and think people understand it is because of installing a containment seat as discussed in a 2nd thread... Either people have not made the connection that the threads are related, or they missed the first one.

I tried the deep steering and extension and did not work for me but I am 5'-6" with a little beer belly for now

I think that set up is what Eric uses and he is like 2 ft taller then me LOL

I order my stuff from http://rothsport-racing.com/Products...eering-Hub.htm

Little expensive but I love my hub and QR, perfect combination for a 5-6 person!

Antonio

That's the one I dream about. Really nice. I started with a ball-bearing cheap one, went to one with 2 pull handles (much more positive connection) and it's great--and even better because I started with the cheap one.
