Default 68T coupe, 72T coupe, 73.5T Targa, 82 930 Turbo for sale in Sterling, VA

http://home.att.net/~porsche_for_sale/

I have the following cars for sale here in Sterling, VA. The 73.5 and the Turbo are excellent cars, ready for anything right now. The 68 would make a great winter project, and the 72 would be a fine car with a new coat of paint. Please look over the data and photos on the web pages, come over for a test drive and make me an offer. My driveway is full so I gotta get rid of at least two before the winter comes!

- Blue 1972 911T Sportomatic Coupe from California and Colorado with 42k miles that is RUST FREE with original MFI, needs paint.
$9,500.-

- Burgundy 1968 911T Sportomatic SWB Coupe of dry Texas origin that has a really nice rebuilt original motor and trans along with a solid bottom, front pan and rockers. No rust anywhere except for a 6 inch square hole under driver's knees from the horsehair padding they used for sound deadening that wicked water there to puddle and do its evil work! It sat in the West Texas sun for at least a decade, runs fine now but is still a project.
$7,200.-

- Gemini Blue 1973.5 911T CIS Targa. A terrific looking car, a terrific driving car, no rust, has air conditioning, new Targa top, Konig sports seats, wood Momo steering wheel. $14,900

- Ivory White 1982 911/930 Turbo Sunroof Coupe - dark blue leather, terrific condition, 95k miles, stunning, unreal, silly fast! This car will be 25 years old and considered a classic collector car in Viriginia in just 4 months (2007)!
$26,500.-

- I also have a complete 1972 2.4 liter 911T motor for sale. I bought it April 2006 from a salvage yard in Atlanta, GA for a 69 I had but I got its engine working so don't need it anymore. It is complete, has air box, muffler, MFI, wiring, etc.came with a 90 day warranty, was taken out of a running and driving car. I'm sure it's a good motor. Can send pics if interested. $2500

I'd never had a Sporto before, drove in one only once, when I was 14 taken around the block by a neighborhood guy when I asked him was heel and toe meant. Great guy. Let me change his oil for him anytime I wanted! He also had a silver 904 (this was the late 1960's). So to now somehow have two is really weird. But they are funky to drive, a whole new way of thinking about a 911.

The 68 is a real gem in the rough. The early ones before 70 or so are always so rusty. This one has a hole under your knees on driver's side but that's all. Hard to find them like that. And the SWB cars are so much simpler, have those big carbs instead of the complex MFI, the motors really like to wind up, drive so light and smooth, etc. They have a whole lot of sports car personality missing from the later more GT cars.

The 72 needs paint but is a really solid classic LWB car.

The 73.5 goes like stink and looks great so she's the queen of the bunch.

The Turbo is the big old bull who takes it easy most of the time but can jump off the ground in a split second if it wants to. It is a real blast to drive. Having so much power right there waiting for the word to go is a lot of fun. Like driving a Hemi Roadrunner but without the squeaks and rumble!

I read somewhere that a famous race car driver had a sporto just to teach him to keep his hand off the shift knob. His mechanic suggested it because if you get used to resting your hand on the shift knob it loads the trans a little more than needed.
