Default Porschefest 2022

Thought I'd start a thread for discussion of our beloved "Everything" event in a few weeks. I have a motive, of course. Is anyone aware of an instructed student who will be there only for Saturday and Sunday (missing Friday)? (If so, please Private Message me, rather than putting it out on the open board). Thanks.

High odds I annoy my instructor enough that they offer me up for adoption.

I can also ask a few folks if they know anyone there for only Sat/Sun.

Seems to me your first step should be with the DE committee...

Thanks, guys. Ed, I think most people don't mention when they'll be there or if they'll miss Friday. The registrar told me "no" on instructing for only 2 days, but I was hoping to find a student who'll miss Friday, because there are a number of students on the wait list and I'd love to be able to get one of them into the event by instructing.

Does not work like that Peter, as a safety issue with students who miss Friday with a few exceptions for more experienced students, missing the first day can cause problems with the dynamics of the group who are up to speed and getting to know each other. Chances are that for Pfest, all student run groups are full.

I would think that, but I looked at the listing (without counting) and saw there was a waiting list so I could hope...

Don't forget that for most Summit Point DEs waitlist for students is most often track loading limited. Sometimes 2 students are required for those instructors who volunteer to take 2, though we don't like doing it as it doescut down a bit on the time onstructors have with their students.
