Default 987.2 R PDK Race Build

It begins...

first step is I-Class, safety and lots of cooling bits...

thing. is. rather. filthy.

This will be interesting to follow -- always nice to see what is needed for a build on a 'new' car. Is that at TPC?

Are there going to be more 'I' cars to compete against in 2017?

That is indeed TPC.

The short answer is no on the second question. I do not think 'I' will grow much. My challenge will be the fast E, G, and slow H cars. The commenter below, for example, will absolutely smoke me in his H car.

But really, I just want some podium stickers. I learned it from goodhands.

I was shopping for GTB-1, and people wanted stupid money for worn PDK cars and even stupider money for fresh ones. Instead I decided to spend stupid money on a fresh car built by people I know and trust and are local.

So, the plan right now is to build to GTB-1 over the winter. That step is mostly aero, brakes, uprights, and flash. But I'm going to do my rookie race in I and learn to drive the car and get some racing seat time sans the big numbers and sheer madness of the GTB-1 field.

.
You've never even podium'd at a DE.

GTB1 is a great class and that is the right car for it. Not sure you have the right people working on it though. The shops in the northeast are way more experienced at cheating...

It's why I need to go racing. DE has become way too competitive.

Why would anyone cheat? Nobody cheats. There's no cheating in Club Racing. That's preposterous! Take that back!! I SAID GOOD DAY SIR

DE has become an arms race. You've got to go out and get an LMP car with turn signals to be competitive these days.

My car is a slow H car running in I. You can kick my ass this September if I can get around to getting the car freshened for the Summit CR.
