How in the hell can a 912 guy suffer from "red mist pedal abuse"?
Other than that, everything looks pretty cool.

Kurt, You may want to rethink the 'linear' throttle pull idea. The cable needs a non-linear pull to give linear power. The first few degrees of movement of the throttle plate is by far the most sensitive. Once you're open about ~1/2way the rest doesn't do much. I can dig some TD-esque graphs of TPS vs MAF/MAP logs out from somewhere if you like If you linearly translate throttle movement to plate angle you're going to have an on/off switch. Id suggest recurving the part on the engine to have a longer radius at idle vs WOT.
This is one of the reasons I set things up that way it is. I can change the curve as I see fit without making new parts. Bend the existing one and or reset to the other hole in the curve plate. Increasing radius or decreasing radius to recurve. I can even add in sharp bends to counteract the flat spots often found seen in carb setups. I don't expect to have any flat spots with a stock motor. i looked at a 993 pedal to butterfly setup and it did not have less movement in the early pedal stroke In fact it seemed far from even and went from fast to slow and then fast again as expected in a rod and crank setup. it also had a lot of inertia and "stickshion" too. It felt to be more a setup for street driving. i am looking for slightly less throttle deg per pedal inch and far more feel for throttle steering in corners.

I am going to have to look at that as I was planning on using the stock line as it is. Thanks for the heads up.

They don't, thus I have little practice. I have a feeling I will break the back end loose a time or two with some ingrained 912 reactions

Howyoubeendoin'?

I suspect you'll need to pick up a few extra fuel jugs, and those cracked 5 year old Hoosiers out back are not going to suffice any longer

...and maybe bring a clean pair of shorts
