Wow! How great is that gang? Sat. was five 25 min. sessions and 6 on Sunday. No better bang for the buck anywhere. I actually had more than I could handle.

Wow, 6 in one day ... that's gotta be a new record.

Any Dorki details ???

Just got home. 11 run sessions over 2 days, I need a nap.

I went from hating the track saturday morning, and honestly thinking about selling the car to having a great time sunday and planning on suspension and tire upgrades. The Shenandoah takes a lot of HP out of the equation, forcing all of us to drive, not rely on the loud pedal. Great fun.

I think we all spun, Marc a few times. This was my first event on RA-1's, which I like a lot. First session this morning was one of my best ever. I could feel seconds coming off my lap times, running out of revs earlier, finally breaking 100mph on the back straight, whereas I could only get to about 90mph before. I came in before the end of the next to last session today, as I had had too many close calls and figured I was getting brain fade.

Sounds like my low HP SC is gonna like this new track

Just wait RL, the RA-1's only get better as they get worn in.

Headed over to the the Shenandoah paddock after the race at SP Main. There were a bunch of tired Dorki with the classic SEG's on high beam. No doubt the smaller regions run great events, with buckets of track time.

Great to see you guys like the new track, too!

So tired. After replacing my alternator saturday and still getting one session and then driving 5 sessions Sunday, I am exhausted. That track is a killer.

What a fantastic weekend! I gotta say I really like this track. Other than two fashionable spins (overconfidence and tried a new line) the 'ole turbolook did well.

I know they say you can take different lines, but this is too much

Here's my one decent in motion shot:

Here are some pics of the gang:

Do dorki's stick together or what?

Wow Vu, those are great shots. That was a fun event, which I almost missed when my dizzy rotor broke in half Firday night (when else?). 8:00 sharp I'm calling around to find a replacement, and got one for $6 at Pep Boys*. Made it up to SC and only missed one session. I ran with their Blue at first until it just got too scarry (thier gree/yellow/blue were combined and some of the greenies were a bit, well, green) and then ran in white the rest of the day. It was a good time - I'm starting to actually like the track. Wish I could have been there today - 6 sessions! Damn!

* BTW, I really realized there is no excuse not to have spares of these things. Rotor, cap, throttle return spring, spark plugs, there's got to be more. But to let a $200+ weekend get ruined by not having a $6 part is inexcusable. Time to break out the crow bar, insert into wallet and stock up.
