I'm in the market for truck tires. I think the stock size is 225/75/16. I know, talk to Radial Tire. Not this time. I need something quick and they are at least an hour away.
Costco sells a BFGoodrich Commercial T/A All-Season LT225/75R16 for $102 mounted. Any experience with these? The reviews I read seem positive, although I'm not sure what to expect from a 3/4 ton truck tire. The load range is D, whatever that mean. The truck is for taking the car to the track, not a daily driver and not a corner carver. Should I step up a size or two, or is the 225 enough rubber?
