So I take the Targa out for a little spin after all my 'honey doos'. Top off. Away we go. My normal 'quick spin' route is the belway to GW Parkway to 395 to the beltway and home again. Just enough to get the engine warm and my attitude adjusted. 8)

Here I am on the GW cruising about 65 and I notice a car pretty much staying in my 9 o’clock for about a mile. Then, you know how you can feel someone looking at you? Well about the time I look over this fine looking young thang in a VW convertible goes “Sweeeet” I say huh? And she says Sweeeeeeet, again. And is off in a flash. Now for just a split second this old man thinks she’s talking about me, then I realized it was the car.

Boy, she has good taste in cars. She also made my day. Thanks Honey, whoever you are.

I know how you feel Rich!

I drive my son's 94 Supra TT Targa once in awhile, especially on days like this and get all kinds of attention. Except it isn't me getting it, it is the car!

Oh well, when I was younger I didn't need the car to get it.
