these are in reference to a type IV motor
1st) recommend a fluid to use. someone said transmission fluid 2nd) i had to cut my own disk and the fit seems OK, not real tight, about 2mm clearance. do i seal the disk with something to keep the fluid in? i was thinking grease (some easy to clean like synthetic wheel bearing grease) 3rd) what's the tolerance? (is this info in a spec book?) TIA |

ATF works fine
Very thin film of wheel bearing grease against flat surface of head. You can also skip the valve springs and use thin film on the valve face/seat interface. Most burettes arecalibrated to a 1/10 cc. This will take enough time to get to this tolerance. |
