Default MSD 6A installation into Lu's 73E

Kurt M., the "Evil Tech King" also doubles as a magician in his garage. He fabbed a nice bracket and mounted the MSD box that I recently bought to replace the Bosch CD box that failed recently. We got it all hooked up and it's working like a champ. Thanks Kurt!

Here's a post with pics on Pelican:

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention his rates...

Being a new Dad, I'm guessing that Kurt charges a baby sitting session

Congrats on the install.

Tell us your initial thoughts.

Has throttle response improved in the lower RPM?

Did you widen the plug gaps?

Inquiring minds want to know......

Charlie, it's not a dramatic improvement over the Bosch CD box. Well, let me take that back, it's a tremendous improvement over my dead Bosch CD box.

I opened the plug gaps to 0.054".

Oh, one more important point on this project...I need to extend a big thanks to David Riley for the loan of a Bosch CD box until I was ready to go with the MSD. Thanks Dave!
