Dashboard Cameras
I am in the market for a dashboard camera, but prices and reviews are all over the place. It is hard to pinpoint a camera that seems to have a happy customer base. Does anyone here have any experience with them?
My requirements aren't too unreasonable.
Considering the DVR-007 or DVR-027

Contour, with 12v power supply, started with vehicle but company went under.
GoPro just came out with Hero 3+, so Hero 3 Black should be on sale if you find one. Will run with external power, and comes with a WiFi remote, and is sharp as hell (you can record 4K but that will use a lot of memory).

I've been looking for one that to use in everyday traffic, for insurance/liability reasons rather than one for the track. After a recent mis-hap, getting to the track may be postponed for another season. I haven't given up yet though.
