Default Non Porsche body shops stink

A 86 Carrera I am preparing for sale was repainted by a non Porsche body shop. One of my tasks was to fix a door handle. The body shop had left a wire adrift in the door which got caught by the window and pulled the wire against a bar for the locking mechanism. When I took the door apart I found the automatic locking solenoid disconnected, a hole cut in the door for ??? purpose, American hardware, a bolt where a nut should have been. Just to make sure I took the other door apart and found similar FU's. This is not terminal but a pain the ass to make right. At this point the central locking system now works.

Also high on my list of 'forget me nots' is H&H Security and Lock company. I needed to re-key a used handle I bought and fix the lock in the other handle. They charged me $316 and did an imperfect job. I was expecting fair treatment and feel screwed. I would suggest you avoid them in the future.

FYI
