I just got this email from Taylor. For those who have a few hours on Saturday, go check out his new place. I worked there when I was in town last. Great place, great guy. He's just starting out on his own so show him your support if you are able. He's helped out quite a few of us on this board, including myself. I wish I could be there for this, but I'm busy getting my Jihad on in the sand box.

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that I'll be hosting an Open House this Saturday (9/27) from 9am - 3pm at German Auto Group.

Feel free to come over to check out the shop, say hello and use a lift for an inspection or a simple repair (first come, first served).

My tools will be available and I'll be here to keep an eye on your progress and offer a helping hand if you need it.

I just talked to Taylor... I was out of town, so I missed the fun.

He said he had a great turn out. He really enjoyed meeting everyone and asked me to thank everyone who came out ... especially in the rain.

He said he's planning on doing more of these in the future.

he did have a good turnout, and everyone seemed pretty happy about the setup there. There will be a report with photos about the day in the November issue of der Vorganger, due in your mailboxes the last week of October. (Sorry, but we just couldn't get it into the October issue, which should be in your mailboxes THIS week.)

I missed the open house but dropped my car there yesterday. Nice place, not too hard to get to. FREE loaner car for the day! Or a ride to the metro. I had a repair completed that another shop failed to diagnose. So it's fixed now . Taylor is great!
