Default OT- some jerk just hit my Jeep

Lately I have been having the crapiest luck. The latest was today when we left Red Hot and Blue we found my Jeep hit in the rear. The hit was hard enough that it dug into the bumper and peeled more than a 1/4 of the paint. of course no note but the owner was kind enough to leave some blue paint. I hate to claim this but the Jeep is new and it will bother me until I do. Karma will get this guy.

If you want to make the trip to MD I have a painter who works in the Autopark off 29 in Silver Spring. He's the only person who's ever painted any of my cars. Send me a PM if you are interested, and I'll give him a call. Oh, and he's really cheap

Jeez people are jerks. I had a similar (but far less intrusive) incident two days ago. Came out of my apt and found a lovely curving GOUGE (not scratch) along my front passenger fender, right over the tire, on my Benz: all the way down to white and a little metal. It's conspicuously the same height as the end of a pedal on a kid's bike...like the myriads of kids that roam the parking lots here at all hours of the day/night, weaving their bikes in between cars. They all seem to be completely unsupervised by adults now that they are on summer break: I see "packs" of the same young (6?) kids roaming around all day in the apt complex streets.

One can only hope Karma smiles cruelly on their worthless parents..and maybe the kids too: I vote chicken-pox!

Jim,
That sux . I continue to be amazed at the antics of individuals trying to prove the "dumbass gene" is alive and well. I'll put an extra quarter in the karma fountain for you.

That sucks. Someone brought up Wal-Mart which made me think of my recent story. Well I always take my Jeep to Wal-mart when I have to go because I know these type of people are out there. The Jeep has some cut down bumpers, and these frame mounted rock rails. I dropped my wife off one day and sat in the Jeep when she came back. This guy goes to get into his car (90's Chevy Beretta) beside me and I guess he didn't think I left him enough room. So he pushes his door a harder, expecting to make a dent in the Jeep and he totally banged it right into the rock rails. His face was priceless when he realized he did more damage to his door than to the Jeep. Plus I was laughing hysterically when it happened. I had the windows down and as he was rushing to get out of there I said "How'd that work out for you". I was laughing so hard I almost fell out of the Jeep. He had no idea I was in the Jeep when he let this little incident go down. He got out of there in a hurry. People don't respect other property any more. Goes back to my theory that most people are tools.
