Default Did 912 HP rise over production?

I see most cites list 90-102HP, with it going up over the years. Then I was reading an old sportscar market and saw this:

"First, there was no horsepower increase during the 912’s run; it remained at 90 hp (DIN) from 1965 to 1969."

He also said this, which seems difficult to agree with: "[the 912] can't touch any good 911 in durability, reliability, or driving performance. I do not see the 912 as particularly affordable and certainly do not see it as an increasingly popular model."

Durability and reliability would seem to almost have to be equal to a 911, as they shared so many components.

Anyway, whats tha answer on HP? Not including 1976 of course.

Advertised horsepower was the same to 69. If anything, the 69 with the spitshaft carbs was jetted leaner for the main jets and the car did seem slower at the time.
