Default HPDC Question

If I miss the HPDC for Potomac and get in a weekend through another region, will that count in lieu of an HPDC for Potomac?

Mark,

After reading your post, I checked my own status for the April HPDC and found that I'm accepted!

Hope it all works out for you.

I'm waiting until the car is ready. Still have to pull apart the suspension and send out the shocks, etc. Oh well. Maybe I'll have to run a bunch of auto-xs to qualify.

My initial guesstimate is that any PCA Region's or Zonal HPDC would qualify, but (as recommended earlier) best to check on PCA Potomac's site. Post your question on PorscheTalk or you can email Potomac's DE Chair (dechair@pcapotomac.org) or Chief Instructor (chiefinstructor@pcapotomac.org) for clarification.

Of course, attending at least 3 of our autocrosses is also encouraged! At this point in time, we still have slots available for our Autocross School this Sunday, 3/25. It will qualify for one of your autocross events, and will be an excellent introduction to the fundamentals of autocrossing, and performance driving in general. If this is of interest to you, please send an email to autocross@pcapotomac.org.

you could run ANY kind of a car for the hpdc while getting your car ready... no need to wait (and miss the event) while building up your car...

Rich,
Thanks for the heads-up. My son, Ben, just got accepted, too. We'll see you all there. I will not be driving or teaching, so I can take photos. We have a Canon Elph--if someone is bringing a camera with more of a lens, I'd be happy to use it to take photos (esp. of Dorkis).

Lots of volunteers needed to operate an HPDC. If you are a card holder and on premises, you won't have time for takin' no stinkin pictures.

I signed up and am accepted. I've been running Blue so I am expecting to be pressed into service as a volunteer around the track when I am not actually driving. I signed up this year because I want to compare it to my first experience on Jefferson. That first day I just couldn't believe how much I didn't know how to drive.......still learning.

Kevin, it's all about priorities! Okay, okay, I'll help (then you can feed me lunch).
