I recently remodeled my kitchen, so what better to do with the old electric oven then set it up in the garage to do some powder coating.
I went the cheap route with harbor freight stuff, I have only done a couple of parts so far but it seems to work ok. I also picked up a bench top bead blaster cabinet. If anyone wants to test it out I have a few colors you can try. Blast cabinet working area is ~25"x15"x15" . Oven is your standard size.

wow. i would have never thought to do that with the old oven.....too cool.
oh wait! why not do it just in the kitchen! Step one: put parts in sink to get surface gunk off. Step two: place parts in dishwasher. Step three: powder parts on clean counter top Step four: cook parts till golden brown or when legs fall off bushings.
