Default Help...Need Pagid Orange

So I finally got around to putting some decent pads on my car this weekend for VIR (You guys where right..took longer to take the wheel off than to change the pad), yet OG Racing gave me the wrong rear pads. Most shops are closed thru monday because of the holiday, so not sure I can get the correct set in time. Anyone have a set of Pagid Orange U2406's (fit for 01-05 996TT or GT3) I can "borrow" for a couple days (or buy) til I get the correct ones in. Need them in time for VIR...otherwise brakes will be way off..worn stocks in the rear, and new Oranges in the front... Any help/Ideas will be appreciated. (Note: Free case of Old Dominion Pale Ale for anyone who comes thru).

Ryan, I just checked my car. It seems my rear stock 85 Carrera brakes are just a smidge smaller than yours, so I can't help out. Sorry .

Ryan - get in touch with Paul Weston (Weston Motorsports)

"To place an order for high performance brake pads and slotted rotors, please call toll-free: 888-558-0631 or email: paul@westonmotorsports.com"

and see if Paul's coming to the VIR event. If he is he might be able to bring the pads to the event. if not, I'll bet he can ship them to you in time.

Paul's still in business, but he moved to Florida, so I doubt he'll be at VIR (although I'd like to see him). Send him an email...

If you order them from CDOC on Tues, you'll have them Wed. Is that too late?

Or if you pay for overnight, you can get them from rennstore by Wed also. That may be cheaper.

BTW, the 2405 size is also the front pad for regular 996 C2/C4 and also the Boxster S. So maybe that widens your search?

I sold my extra set of oranges I had. I'm running yellows now. Sorry.

Default Pagid yellows

Ryan ..... are the 2406's yellow RS 19's, ?? if so, they have similiar friction characteristics but w/greater longitivity, they can be mixed with the RS 4's Orange. I ran w/RS 19's Yellows on the front and RS 4's Oranges on the rear.
If you don't want to mix I have a next to new set of Pagid Orange 2405's RS 4's with 1 run on them at SP. if you get in a bind,,, You can buy or trade,,, I'll be at VIR

Roy - Thanks for the offer...I may take you up on it. OGRacing back open tomorrow, so if they have them in stock I can pick up a set at lunch, otherwise that would be great if I could trade you my new set that I'de have to order for the ones you have. Will make for a nice out of balance drive down to VIR....worn stock rears, and fresh Oranges on the front...at least it will keep me at relatively low speeds...so chance of getting a "monster" speeding ticket is slim.
