Default Hershey reminder this Saturday

This is a big parts swap (I think) because it is hooked to the Porsche Parade. If you have some parts I may be able to accomodate taking them up. My goal is to have the truck loaded by noon on Friday. (You must mark how much you want and who you are, firmly attached to the part.) I am looking for a volunteer who wants to mount up at 4:30AM for the drive up and to help out. It will be fun, plus spell me to look for a starter ring gear (kurt are you listening) or two!

Even if you don't have parts to sell, come by and visit. Bring your smiling face, some bull$hit tales, some lies, some facts. Spots D32 and D33. Considering past history, bring rain gear, and $$$$!

What do you want for your SC? Might save you a trip to PA. Some details like from you PM the other day would help too.

OK, here it goes....

1978 SC ROW No sunroof coupe. Manual windows, no A/C. Brown exterior (same color as Charlie's car). Stripped out interior.
Here is what I know about the history of the car.
The first owner I could track down was Mike Muller who still lives in Vienna, VA. He bought the car in early 2000 from his brother in Houston, Texas. Mike Muller said the only reason he sold the vehicle was because he bought it as a weekend fun car and there wasn't much place to drive the vehicle withouth A/C in this area.
According to Mike Muller he was the third owner.
Mike Muller had a significant ammount of repairs made at ASG. The car was there from April 13, 2000 through December 21, 2000 for an engine and heat echanger overhaul. The recipet indicates that this was preformed at 74,000 miles.
The fourth owner was professor Sam Chambers in Fredricksburg. Sam sold the car to Dave Pennington, an attourney in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
I bought it from Dave in November of last year with 82,174 miles planning on turning it into a track car. Last week I took it out of storage, stripped out the interior, and that's how the car sits.

Below is a list of major repairs which I am aware of have been done to the car (have receipts).

3.31.00
- installed new brake master cylinder and starter.
- fill with ATE blue dot 4 brake fluid

12.21.00
- heat exchangers replaced
- new oil pressure switch installed
- new oil return lines installed
- clutch replaced
- one piston and cylinder replaced
- removed all 24 head studs, installed all new dilivar studs
- installed all new heat controls, installed new cables, housings.

1.7.02
- installed new front strut inserts

4.29.02
- cap and rotor replaced
- spark plugs replaced
- all 4 brake rotors/calipers/pads replaced
- turbo tie rods installed
- ball joints replaced
- front and rear hood shocks replaced
- brake fluid replaced
- transmission fluid replaced with swepco
- valves adjusted

A roll bar, and a set of brand new RS door panels will come with a car.
I'm into the car for just over $7,000, anyone with an offer somewhat close to that figure can drive the car home..

Here are some pics. nothing fancy, just stepped outside and took a few shots as the car sits now..
