I know some of you have rebuilt your 915s. When I ordered all of the whatnot to do the clutch, I also ordered the 3 round bushings that fit on the throwout fork shaft. One I looked at the Bentley and the shop manual, it looks like there are some precise measurements that need to be made when installing these. I haven't taken it apart yet....how difficult a job is this? The ones in there seem fine, but I don't want to foul this all up replacing an Ok part. Are these precises measurements of how far to stick them in necessary or are there other parts inside the shaft that will make the measuring unnecessary?
Thanks!
